George Mann has a unique ability to make readers feel like they're listening to a folklore from their youth. The author balances world building to ensure the mini-series has emotional depth alongside action. The solid story objective presented enhances a major turning point in the plot. The author's approach to crafting deep and impactful scenes redeems the teaser installment from its behemoth status. Readers wanting an inner character driven dark fantasy could find a ton of joy diving in.

The worth of the opening panel is equivalent to ten thousand souls. The creativity persists, adding the perfect touch and capturing the author’s energy and script. It’s certain that a black & white version of this series in the future would be beneficial for both die-hard fans and Dark Souls enthusiasts. The gradient flow of scenes in Roman Stevens' work masterfully controls the emotion, with breathtaking colors. Flawless victory all around.
