**Disclaimer: I received a Digital Review Copy**
Joe Rechtman's writing for the debut issue will make readers feel the escapism this creative team has whipped up! The charm and quirkiness injected within his dialogue and scripting can intrigue the reader about the progress of the upcoming story. The authors' ability to present a character of such determination and madness keeps the premier issue firing on all cylinders. Though the storytelling doesn't break the mold, it will keep the reader chuckling at the antics imagined within this story.
Art
Anyone would be a fool to say this art isn't well illustrated. Reilly Brown creates unique panel progressions that won't confuse readers, causing any interruption to the reader's flow. Making it so the comic feels fluid, even with the fireworks factory show on display. The mashup between the artist and colorist may make readers feel like they've tuned into a superhero house style infused with retro pulp-like comic vibes. As a new property to comics, this allows the creative team to establish how they perceive this world and keep with the overall look. Other than one off-putting coloring error during Adept Hadrien's DOH! moment. The art of this comic brings da ruckus.
